What is it and
its benefits?
The Product: Estalife Collagen Peptides 6600mg (Zero Sugar) is a high-potency, ready-to-drink liquid beauty supplement designed to reverse the structural decline of skin aging using Natural Sweeteners.
How it Works (The "Construction Crew" Analogy): Think of your skin as a building that is slowly cracking.
• The Materials (Collagen 6600mg): We send a massive delivery of "bricks" (Peptides) to the site.
• The Workers (Vitamin C 250mg): The bricks are useless without workers. Vitamin C acts as the "crew" that cements the bricks together.
• The Security Guard (Glutathione): Protects the new structure from damage (UV rays/Pollution) and cleans up the site (Brightening).
• The Clean Fuel (Zero Sugar): Unlike other crews that bring messy junk food (sugar) to the site, this crew works clean—preventing insulin spikes while rebuilding.

Certifications — what they actually mean
03 . Most collagen products don't use enough — here's what the research actually requires
Clinical studies on skin improvement use 2.5–10g of collagen peptides per day. Most Singapore products use 1–2.5g — enough to print "collagen" on the label, not enough to replicate the doses used in the research that proves it works.

Proksch et al., Skin Pharmacology and Physiology, 2014
"Collagen peptides work by signalling fibroblasts to produce new collagen. That signal is dose-dependent. Below 2,500mg, the signal is too weak to produce a measurable change."
04 . What's inside — three ingredients that work together

6,600mg
Hydrolysed Marine Fish Collagen Peptides (Type I)
Derived from deep-sea fish scales and skin. Hydrolysed into peptides as small as 189 Daltons — near the optimal size for intestinal wall absorption. Once absorbed, these peptides signal fibroblasts to produce new collagen and hyaluronic acid. Marine collagen is predominantly Type I, the same type that makes up 80% of skin collagen.
Marine Type I collagen is the most relevant form for skin. The 189 Da peptide size matters — larger fragments are absorbed far less efficiently.
Ohara et al., Journal of Dermatology, 2010
Pu et al., Nutrients, 2014
Asserin et al., Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, 2015

100mcg
L-Glutathione (Reduced Form)
The body's master antioxidant. Glutathione neutralises free radicals and is known to inhibit tyrosinase — the key enzyme involved in melanin production. The reduced form is biologically active form and readily utilised by the body's cells for antioxidant functions.
Glutathione works together with Vitamin C in the antioxidant recycling network. Vitamin C regenerates oxidised glutathione back to its active reduced form; glutathione reactivates oxidised vitamin C. They are supporting each other simultaneously.
Weschawalit et al., Clin Cosmet Investig Dermatol, 2017
Lee et al., Physical Activity and Nutrition, 2023

250mg
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
An essential co-factor in the enzymatic hydroxylation of unfolded procollagen chains to mature functional triple-helix collagen. Vitamin C is not optional - it is a required building material for the process that collagen peptides trigger.
This is why collagen-only products are incomplete. You cannot build new collagen without Vitamin C at an adequate dose.

05 . Key benefits — what the science shows

Skin elasticity and firmness
Subjects taking 5g daily showed significantly improved skin elasticity at 4 and 8 weeks versus placebo in a double-blind trial.
Proksch et al., Skin Pharmacology and Physiology, 2014

Skin hydration and moisture
Oral collagen peptides increase skin hydration by stimulating hyaluronic acid production in the dermis. Effects were measurable at 4 weeks in subjects taking collagen peptides daily.
Miyanaga et al., Skin Pharmacology and Physiology, 2021

Brightness and even skin tone
Glutathione inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme driving melanin production. Vitamin C reinforces this through a separate antioxidant pathway. Two mechanisms, one sachet.
Arjinpathana & Asawanonda, Journal of Dermatological Treatment, 2010
Sarkar et al., International Journal of Dermatology, 2024

Hair and nail strength
Studies show improved hair and scalp condition at daily consumption over 12 weeks. An open-label trial has also showed a 42% reduction in broken nails and a 12% increase in nail growth rate.
Hexsel et al., Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, 2017

06 . Why Jia formulated it this way

Jia
Estalife Founder
Certified Nutritionist since 2018

"I actually made this product for myself too, haha! I've been taking collagen since 2013, and for many of those years I stuck to pure powder with no added sugars. But when the sachet drinks wave came back, it was honestly quite irresistible. They're so much easier to bring around than glass bottles (I was always paranoid about smashing them on travel trips). I still alternate between powder and drinks, but I wanted a sachet version that let me cut down on sugar even further. Our fruit-sugared version is already low at just 1.3g total, but I wanted to push it lower for daily long-term use.
That's what drove this formulation. We used natural non-sugar sweeteners (monk fruit, stevia and erythritol), which won't spike blood sugar like sugar does and have solid recorded safety profiles. Every batch is third-party lab tested before it leaves our facility, same as all our products.
One thing I want to say openly: collagen has a lot of misinformation on both sides. The naysayers claim it's a scam and too big to be absorbed, while some brands oversell it as a miracle protein that can replace your skincare or fix every skin issue. Both are wrong. Collagen as a whole protein is indeed too big to be absorbed, but that's old news. We've had the technology to break it down into collagen peptides (small enough to be efficiently absorbed) for decades, with tons of RCTs proving the cause-and-effect of supplementation. That said, it's not a miracle. Daily sunscreen will do more for long-term skin ageing than daily collagen ever will. Our body is a big complex system, and collagen isn't there to replace anything. It works alongside your diet, exercise and skincare. I'll do a full long-form video on this one day, keep a lookout!
Thank you for all your love so far!"
07 . Same ingredient — very different dose and price
3–6×
Most collagen products use 1,000–2,500mg per serving. Clinical studies require at least 2,500mg to show measurable skin improvement.
| WHAT TO CHECK | OTHER BRANDS | ESTALIFE 6,600MG | WHY IT MATTERS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Collagen dose | 1,000–2,500mg | 6,600mg | Human RCTs demonstrating skin elasticity improvement used 2.5g minimum marin collagen. Estalife delivers 6.6g — the clinical doses in one serving. |
| Collagen type | Often unspecified | Type I collagen | Type I is the primary structural collagen in skin. Marine source is predominantly Type I. |
| Peptide size | Often unspecified | Over 70% <1000 Da | Smaller peptides cross the gut wall more efficiently. Low molecular weight <1000Da is the optimal range for intestinal absorption. |
| Vitamin C | Absent or 30–60mg | 250mg — functional dose | Without Vitamin C, ingested collagen peptides cannot be converted into functional collagen fibre. |
| Glutathione | Absent or proprietary blend | 100mcg reduced (active) form | Reduced glutathione inhibits tyrosinase — the enzyme responsible for melanin production — and pairs with Vitamin C, which helps regenerate it to its active form. |
| Added sugar | Often present | Zero — no added sugar | Formulated with natural sweeteners — erythritol, stevia, and monk fruit extract, chosen for their minimal impact on blood glucose. Free from added sugar and artificial sweeteners, making it a suitable daily ritual for those managing blood sugar levels or following a lower-sugar lifestyle. |
| Price per box | $45–$140 | $29.99 | We own our own factory and sell directly to you. No distributor or retailer markups. |
08 . What to expect — a realistic skin timeline
Collagen works from the inside out. Results are gradual. Here's what the published studies show at each stage.
Week 1–2
Your body gets to work
Collagen peptides are absorbed into the bloodstream within hours of drinking. They travel to the dermis and signal fibroblasts — the skin cells that build collagen and hyaluronic acid — to start producing. Nothing visible yet. But underneath, the rebuild has begun.
Iwai et al., Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2005
Week 2–4
Hydration kicks in first
Hyaluronic acid levels in the dermis begin to rise before new collagen fibres become visible. Skin feels softer, less tight. Dryness reduces. That subtle "plumping" effect most people notice first. This is when it starts.
Asserin et al., J Cosmetic Dermatology, 2015
Week 4–8
Firmness and glow become visible
In a double-blind trial, significant elasticity improvement was measured at 4 weeks — with greater gains by week 8. Glutathione begins modulating melanin production in this window, supporting a more even, brighter tone. Results vary by individual baseline.
Proksch et al., Skin Pharmacology, 2014 · Weschawalit et al., Clin Cosmet Investig Dermatol, 2017
Month 3–6
Structure deepens with consistent use
Skin density and dermal matrix continue to improve. Nail brittleness — measured at 24 weeks in published data — reduces meaningfully. This is the window where people around you start to notice. Not just how your skin looks, but how it feels to touch.
Hexsel et al., J Cosmetic Dermatology, 2017 · Proksch et al., Skin Pharmacology, 2014
Individual results vary. These timelines reflect published clinical data — not a guarantee. Visible results depend on age, skin condition, baseline collagen levels, diet, and consistency of use.
09 . How to take it
One sachet daily. Drink directly. Sour grape flavour with no added sugar and artificial sweeteners — a clean, refreshing taste without sweetness.
2
Take daily. The sour grape flavour makes it easy to build a consistent habit without added sugar.
3
Best on an empty stomach. Either in the morning or before bed.
4
Continue for at least 8–12 weeks, as published clinical trials have shown measurable improvements in skin condition within this timeframe.
If you have a fish allergy, consult your doctor before use. Our collagen is derived from deep-sea fish scales. If pregnant, breastfeeding, or on medication, consult a doctor before taking any supplement.
