Hyaluronic acid is a key component of synovial fluid — the lubricating fluid inside your joints. The new formula provides 150mg of Sodium Hyaluronate, matching the exact dose used in a published clinical trial that assessed oral sodium hyaluronate in healthy adults with elevated WOMAC scores at 6 and 12 weeks (Frontiers in Nutrition, 2025).
Turmeric Extract 500mg, standardised to 95% Curcuminoids — NEW
This delivers 475mg of actual curcuminoids per serving — well within the range studied in human trials for joint comfort and inflammatory pathways. Curcumin, the primary active in Turmeric, has been studied across multiple randomised controlled trials for joint pain and mobility. Taking this with a meal containing healthy fats supports absorption, as curcuminoids are fat-soluble.
Boswellia Extract 200mg, standardised to 65% Boswellic Acids — NEW
This delivers 130mg of boswellic acids per serving. Boswellia serrata is one of the most studied botanicals for joint inflammation, with a meta-analysis of seven RCTs finding it significantly reduced pain scores and WOMAC stiffness compared to placebo (Zhang et al., BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies, 2020). A double-blind, randomised, placebo-controlled trial using 150–300mg of standardised Boswellia extract for 90 days showed improvements in VAS pain score and WOMAC total score in participants with knee osteoarthritis. The formula dose here is in the lower end of the studied range, but the 65% standardisation is higher than the 30% used in most trials, meaning the effective boswellic acid content per dose is comparable.
Undenatured Type II Collagen: 40mg — retained
The UC-II dose is unchanged. A randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled study found that 40mg of undenatured Type II collagen daily for 120 days improved knee extension in healthy subjects and extended the time before exercise-induced joint pain onset. A subsequent multicenter RCT confirmed that 40mg of undenatured Type II collagen daily for 24 weeks improved knee range of motion flexion and extension in healthy subjects with activity-related joint discomfort. 40mg is the established clinical dose and is retained in full.
The formula was rebuilt around the four ingredients with the strongest human clinical evidence specifically for joint structure, lubrication, and inflammatory pathways.
